These resources are at-home, family-friendly ways of engaging with the stories of the faith! They can be used in conjunction with our Zoom Gatherings or they can be a stand-alone that you can mix and match to fit your needs.
If you're in need of some virtual face-to-face prayer and support, Pastor Heather at Oak Grove UMC is hosting two Check-In and Pray Zoom meetings twice a week, 7 pm on Wednesdays and 9 am on Thursdays.
The Circle is a time for millennial and young adults to connect around shared values, meditation, community and ritual, and has been moved to Zoom for the foreseeable future.
If you're feeling spiritual isolated and confused, the Franciscan Spiritual Center has spiritual direction available via Zoom or phone with many wonderful spiritual directors available to walk beside you in this confusing time.
One of the best ways we can show love to our community right now is to stay at home, but that doesn't mean that your home is not a sacred space in itself. Are you looking for more artistic inspiration during these challenging times? Would you like to share encouragement to others but don’t know how? This online course offers creative tools for self care and inspires art projects that can extend care to others. We’ll gather for an hour to learn about ways we can tap into the Creative Spirit. Your ideas are welcome, and there will be time for group input. Free or you may donate to the Franciscan Spiritual Center.
