The Cosmic Rummage Sale

In her book, The Great Emergence, Phyllis Tickle writes about how every 500 years or so, the Church goes through something of a rummage sale --- throwing out some things and preserving other things as it takes a new shape for a new world and a new context. These rummage sales reflect a lot about the cultural, political, and spiritual state of the world in which they happen, each one often sowing the seeds of the next.
So in this miniseries, we will be telling the stories of these past rummage sales, the echoes of our spiritual ancestors, and what they can tell us as we stand on the cusp of our own rummage sale.
