In the Epiphany story, the magi follow a new star in the sky to find the birthplace of a newborn king. And we take this season to choose Epiphany stars that help us orient ourselves in a new year. But imagine what constellations might we see if we oriented together. There are stories that we can only tell in our togetherness. The lies of Empire try to keep us isolated and frozen in place, but the small, flickering light of our own star burns brighter when joined by the light of others, creating constellations of hope for our new year together.
