The story of Easter is disorienting; we see the disciples be ripped into fear and uncertainty, then grief and death, and then into resurrection, all in the span of a weekend. It’s miraculous, it’s hopeful, but it’s also awkward, even a painful thing, coming back to life again; like a limb waking up after it’s fallen asleep. After resurrection, it may take you a while to get your footing, a while for your eyes to adjust; your body may feel heavy as you take your first few steps into resurrection. That is the story of the early church too; humans stumbling into resurrection, forming new stories around resurrection, learning to walk into resurrection together. 

Together, we will be exploring those stories and what they tell us about life AFTER resurrection.
