Give to help those who are hit the hardest
For some, Coronavirus means loss of wages, loss of childcare. This had led to a major gap for our community in being able to keep up with rent, utilities, and food to nourish their families. We are keeping our ear to the ground and listening to find where the greatest gaps are for our community and helping to bridge them. That can mean working with our local schools who are working hard to cover the food needs of our families in the midst of limited supplies. It can mean listening to those for whom English is a second language, who run into additional barriers of access to find they help they need in the mist of a community crisis- this might mean bridging a rent or utility need while these families work hard to make up for lost wages.
We invite you to "step in and help" while practicing social distancing. Press the "Give" button below (and then choose "Covid Assistance" in the dropdown). Your funds will help meet needs of food insecurity (we'll do the shopping for you, helping limit the number of people crowding the grocery store aisle) and rent utility needs of our neighbors.
